Sibling Class 3-6 year olds

Description

Welcoming a new baby is an exciting time for the whole family! This class helps older siblings feel included, confident, and prepared for their new role.

What Your Child Will Learn:

• Age-appropriate understanding of pregnancy and birth
• What it means to be a big sibling
• Safety behaviors around the baby (bathing, sleep, food, and play)
• Hands-on practice with swaddling, diapering, feeding, and holding baby dolls
• How to navigate big feelings, regressive behaviors, and communication changes
• Breathing techniques for managing emotions
• A special sibling tour of the Mother/Baby unit

This interactive session helps children feel excited, prepared, and connected as they welcome their new sibling!

Parent(s) or guardian(s) must attend this class with child(ren) and child(ren) must be at least 36 months old. The class cost of $15 is for the family unit.
