Register Early

We recommend registering for classes early in your pregnancy, with a goal to complete classes approximately one month prior to your due date. Class sizes are limited and can fill quickly. At the earliest and to get the most from the classes, we recommend you register for classes that fall after you are at least 24 weeks along in pregnancy.

Credit Card Payment is Required for Registration

If your class registration includes a fee, credit card payment is required. However, for Mayo Clinic or Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS) patients who plan to deliver at a Mayo or MCHS site and have medical assistance, UCare, or payment concerns, please contact the Perinatal Education Office at 507-266-7473 or perinataleducation@mayo.edu.

Refunds

To be eligible for a refund, please notify the Perinatal Education Office at 507-266-7473 or perinataleducation@mayo.edu at least three (3) days prior to the start of your class. This will allow others on a waiting list the opportunity to attend. No refunds will be given after class begins. Note: there are no refunds offered for eClasses once registration process and payment accepted.

Cancellations

You will be notified if your registered class is cancelled. Other options will be offered to you at that time or refund given. Class cancellations due to severe weather are announced on our voicemail at 507-266-7473 and as a banner on our website.

Waitlists

If a class is full, you are able to request to be put on waitlist for up until registration ends (two days prior to class start date) by clicking on the blue "join waitlist" button on the registration site. You will then be contacted if we are able to accommodate you into the class. If you would like to inquire about joining a class where registration has already ended please contact the Perinatal Education Office at 507-266-7473 or perinataleducation@mayo.edu.
