A tour of the Family Birth Center will be included.

- Comfort strategies (life skills - including relaxation and breathing)
- Medical interventions and pain management options

- Newborn characteristics and basic cares
On Friday night the class runs from 6-9pm and the Saturday session runs from 9am-4pm.
It is recommended that you register early in your pregnancy for this class. We suggest you complete the class about one month before your due date. At the very earliest we need you to be at least 24 weeks along at the start of class.
If you are planning to breastfeed we recommend the Breastfeeding and Pumping 101 class. For first time expectant parents we also recommend the Infant Passenger Safety class and Baby Care Basics class.
