Preparing Children to Attend a Birth
This session is available to families who plan to have their child or children present at the birth of a new sibling. Care provider approval must first be obtained. Children are helped to understand the following: 1) The labor process 2) The wonder of birth and a newborn baby 3) Their role as an older brother or sister.
